This module is an electrode assembly built with five pieces of BDD electrodes, and 6 pieces of titanium electrodes.
Borond doped diamond electrodes features wide overpotential, great chemical and mechincal stability, low background current.

Electro Oxidation Removal Efficiency

With active electrode area up to 480 cm2,BDD electrode demonstrates great removal effiency over color, total N, total P, BOD and COD.
BDD electrode has the lowest energy consumption amonst all types of electroe materials, at 410 Kwh/kg cod.
Removal efficiency are much higher than conventional electrode materials.

Process Technique of Electro Oxidation Trial Module

 

Electro-oxidation process set electric current to create potential between the anodes and cathodes. During the water electrolysis process, the negatively charged oxygen atoms are drawn towards the anode. This EO trial module employs BDD electrode with wide overpotential and low background current, which increase efficiency for electrochemical production of hydroxyl radicals (OH-).                                                                Hydroxyl radicals mineralize refractory organic and recalcitrant chemicals.
